Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property, Casualty and Motor Claims Handler to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. In this role you are a passionate problem solver who is accountable for finding solutions, and will play a pivotal role in managing property, casualty, and motor insurance claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution while maintaining excellent client relationships and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property, casualty, and motor insurance claims from initiation to settlement, adhering to PRFC’s policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and assess the validity of claims, gathering relevant information and documentation as required.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, answer inquiries, and negotiate settlements.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to streamline processes, share knowledge, and deliver truly exceptional service to our clients.
  • Utilize your strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex claims issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims activities and ensure compliance with our internal and external requirements.
  • Embrace and fiercely support PRFC’s commitment to providing Simply Outstanding Service.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in property, casualty, and motor claims handling within the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong organizational and time management skills that allow you to attend to multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to quickly assimilate to new software.
  • A willingness to commit to formal continuing professional development.
